Graduation Requirements

Graduation Requirements (for International students)

  1. You must acquire a total of 130 or more credits and amass a GPA (grade point average) of 1.75 or above
    (You must register for a minimum of 8 semesters).
  2. In addition to your First Major, you must acquire credits for a Second Major or an Intensive Major
    (Choose one from Dual Major, interdisciplinary Major, Student-designed Major, or Intensive Major.)
  3. You must complete five or more English-mediated courses.
    Native or foreign language courses are admissible; credits acquired in foreign universities through exchange student programs are also accepted.
  4. You must acquire an officially recognized English (foreign language) grade
    (Choose one from TOEIC, TOEFL, TEPS, IELTS, or ITP).
  5. You must achieve TOPIK Level 4 or higher.
    (Or complete Level 4 or higher in the Korea University Korean Language regular program.)
  6. KU has provided Human Rights and Gender Equality Education to all members of KU since 2017 to enhance human rights sensitivity and the perception of gender equality. According to KU regulation, every undergraduate and general graduate school student who enrolled from 2017 must take Human rights and Gender equality education.
    (Undergraduate: Once per each grade (Total 4 times before graduation))
