Degree Requirements

1. Total required credits : 130 credits and above completed (For more details about General Education and completion of Majors, refer to Curriculum table) and amass a GPA (grade point average) of 1.75 or above. (You must register for a minimum of 8 semesters.)
2. Second Major : Credits for the second major other than the first major or for the advanced major of the first major completed
   
   ※ Common Graduation Requirements in KU :
   ∙Completion of the second major or an Intensive Major (not applicable to the case of undergraduate transfer.)
   ∙Certificate of official English Test(foreign language) (as of students who started college in 2000) ∙Completion of 5 English courses(Original, Foreign language) (3 courses for Undergraduate Transferred students) *It does not matter whether it is major or general education course. Both are acceptable.
   ∙For matriculants who are not Korean citizen, it is required to acquire KU Korean Language Course Level 4 and above or TOPIK Level 4 and above.
   ∙Certification of the comprehension of Chinese characters (including Undergraduate Transferred students)
   - Passing KU test of the understanding of Chinese Characters
   It is recognized as satisfying requirement for Chinese Certificate(Hanja) standard for KU in case of acquiring certifications below.
   - Official institutions for Chinese characters and literature recognized by KU
